What is a Skin Peel? A skin peel, also known as a chemical peel, is a science-based treatment that when properly administered, offers one of the most powerful non-surgical skin improvements available. It involves the application of highly specialized acid and enzyme solutions to remove damaged layers of cells from the skin’s outer surface, revealing more glowing, youthful skin.

Choosing A Peel – Rhonda Allison skin peels are available at 3 fundamental levels:

• Progressive – $150.00 – Special $125.00 – A progressive peel is the mildest course of treatment, removing only the outer layer of the stratum corneum with no visible peeling. Repeated treatments on a regular schedule, series of 3 every 2 weeks, (Series of 3 $100.00 per treatment) will cause mild exfoliation of the skin with cumulative effects. This is best described as a mild, yet refining, peel.
• Mid-Depth – $175.00 – Special $150.00 – A mid-depth skin peel targets the intra-epidermal layer, skin exfoliation occurs within 2 to 3 days of treatment. Light flaking may occur, similar to a sunburn peel. May be administered 3 times a year. A mid-depth peel can offer rejuvenation effects with minimal down time.
• Deep – $225.00 – Special $200.00 – A deep skin peel reaches the deepest intra-epidermal layers where skin peels in large segments. Skin becomes brown and crusted prior to considerable peeling, occurring 3 to 4 days after the application. The typical recovery period lasts 7 to 10 days, with treatment allowed up to 2 times a year. A deep peel restores and renews skin with the most dramatic results.
• Skin of Color Signature Peel – $150.00 – Special $125.00 – This corrective progressive peel effectively brightens and evens skin tone, smooths and softens rough texture while protecting the skin against post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation.

Recovery and Post Peel Treatment – The post peel treatment is as important to successful results as the peel itself. Post care treatment will include occlusive healing balms, epidermal growth factor for cell renewal and wound repair, calming topicals to reduce itching and inflammation.

After skin has healed, daily skin care is essential to maintaining results. Consultation with each client will be done to assess their needs.
